Jordi Urbón *1962 Puigcerdá
Jordi Urbón creates fictional worlds in his computer-generated images. The figures in his pictures are found in surreal, dream-like places that seem to emerge from their subconscious and touch the innermost emotions of human existence. He often portrays himself and appears as the protagonist of his works, sometimes as a hero, sometimes as a clown. Pictorial tools such as painting are popular and do not disappear completely in his works, but they are replaced by new artistic media and working methods.
Urbón has exhibited his graphic works in Spain, Germany, Poland and France and was awarded first prize at the 2013 Biennale of the Galerie 100 Kubik for his work.
